Hello and welcome to Kenya Water Institute (KEWI). KEWI remains focused on being the centre of excellence in training, research, consultancy and outreach for the water and related sectors.

KEWI plays its role in ensuring that communities gain access to clean water. To attain this end, KEWI intends to conduct groundwater related consultancies, such as resources assessment, research, test pumping, borehole rehabilitation, maintenance and test-drilling, at an affordable cost.

Hands-on Training Course: Hydrogeological Survey

 Course Content

Water Sector Trust Fund (WSTF) in collaboration with Climate Technology Centre Network (CTCN) is getting technical expertise to develop a concept and proposal to be submitted to the Green Climate Fund (GCF), upon which KEWI will eventually benefit from this arrangement.

The programme is intended to increase capacity in financing while at the same time raise awareness campaign to change the perception on water services and sanitation development. 

Present during the meeting was Ms Ann Nabangala Obae (WSTF), Rywon Yang (GICK), Sachin Shukla, (GICK Consultant), Lee ji ho, MSIT(Korea), Wangai Ndirangu (BEA), Paul Muthama (Deputy Director Research), David Ngetich (Deputy Director Academic), Leonard Makokha (HoD Management Information Technology), among others.
