Kenya Water Institute has signed a memorandum of understanding with Keilot Kenya Limited at the Institute on 19th October, 2021.

Keilot Ltd is an Israeli-Kenyan company specializing in advanced technologies and microfinance for disconnected, off-grid regions.

The company’s products are designed to save families money by lowering monthly costs besides environmental green energy saving on usual costs such as diesel, LPG or charcoal.

The signing which was done by KeWI Director Prof. Patrick Hayombe and Keilot Chief Executive Officer Omri Cohen is aimed at training, research and consultancy for students on green energy thus offering environmental solutions for food, water and energy while saving money by lowering the costs.

The company founder Orit Marom,who is also the Co- CEO witnessed the signing ceremony with KeWI Deputy Director for Corporate Services Mr. Kennedy Riaga, said that the memorandum will enable students to learn more about green energy for sustainable development adding that it will be economical if the initiative is adopted fully.
